I really like the texture in this one Susanne. I might have cropped out the red building on the left. It distracts just a little from the beautiful textured one with the icicles and snow. Just my opinion. It is a very good shot.

I love the textures of that redwood building, and the way the icicles are covered with snow or frost. Gorgeous winter shot, Susanne.

Susanne..this took my breath away when I first saw this!!!! How amazing. Not only the colours, but the wonderful fantastic icicles and snow!! With that red colour. Imagine how hard the snow must have been blowing against this little house to cause the snowdrifts, and snow on the wood, PLUS the huge amount of snow that was literally frozsen down from the roof. A completely fantastic photo. I will cherish having this on my desktop. SOOO beautiful. Verena

Beautiful image, nice red/brown tone of house, lot of snow... looking at this foto you know for certain it's cold there. Could you go there once more? And move your camera a little bit to the right? And zoom out? And take another foto?
