The ray of light makes this lake scene inviting .... perhaps a glimmer of hope for a beautiful day. Love the wave action. Very well done, Susanne.

Looks dramatic. Faint blue color of the sky over gray sea is very interesting. Good composition.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Just like a spot along Lake Erie near Port Clinton, Ohio. Beautiful work, Susanne.

Susanne, one of those rare photos where I, as the viewer, believe I can feel all of the elements. The stones, the water, the temperate. The coming of the light.

Good capture of the ray of light on the dark water. This could be a good entry for the contest Susanne.

It would make a good entry for the contest Susanne. Good angle for the shot across the water.

Very nice photo and I love the soft look to the sea in this shot and the suns last rays running towards you.The blue sky and rocks at the front add I very nice touch to this photo too.

An excellent shot, Susanne! Those moments when the sun breaks through the clouds are often fleeting on days like this, but can produce some remarkable photographs. You've captured the moment in this shot very well. I like the steel gray color of the choppy water and the slight touch of blue in the sky. A nicely composed shot, as well, with good depth of field. Well done!

Looks quite tactile, Susanne. I could reach out and scoop up the water.
