Just for a short moment the sun came thru the clouds and I could snap this shot of the fern. We have had only clouds, cold and rain for weeks now. It is a strange summer this year.

All comments are most welcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

---Just for a short moment the sun came thru---

And you caught it, Susanne. Hope it will last for some time, because the lots of showers that we recently had, begin to depress me.

Very fine image.

Regards, Cornelius.

Susanne, this is simple, and beautiful! You nailed the lighting! It seems all the rain is across that big pond this summer, and yes the weather has been so strange this year. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Yes, we have had the opposite of your summer. Too bad we can't share back and forth a little. I love the way the sun chooses to spotlight different parts of creation for us to notice and examine. Nicely captured moment, Susanne.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Susanne - The elongated spot of sunlight is such a part of the composition, leading the eye across the fern from left to right. Very cool! Thad
