This tree is one of my favourites. It stands tall and proud in a local park and I often rest or eat lunch under it :)

I'm not one for poems, not my thing..but this one I always liked.

No Time To Stand And Stare

What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight, Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance, And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.

William Henry Davies

I wanted to get more height from the tree but it goes up forever lol

I think the font I used for that one is called Folkard.

This is a very moving upload and I think that the poem has as much to do with it as that lovely tree.

Oh neat, you have a favorite tree. It's a lovely presentation to honor a beautful monarch.

Now you've taught me something because I always thought that was Rudyard Kipling. It's a great poem and expresses a sentiment that I hold very strongly. Love your image here Bonnie and it goes perfectly with the words.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
