My first ever butterfly shot.

Usuall I cannot shoot things like this as I have no zoom to speak of and things don't just sit there for you.... well this little guy did!

I was pretty much on top of it, and it didn't move, except to shift it's wings a few times..needless to say I thanked it.

Nice clarity, Bonnie. He looks fantastic on top of those wonderfully clear and green leaves.

I would never have guessed this was a first... the clarity, composition, and colors are all smashing. Good one, Bonnie!

Don't you just love it when you're able to get a butterfly to sit still? I haven't seen one like this - very nice!
