A really well composed shot Ray. The lighting is great and so is the angle. Magnificent colors and details compliment this historical and beautiful sculpture quite well. I love the intricacy of the carvings and columns on the tomb.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
The lighting hits it just right Ray. They sure took death seriously back in these times. Wonderful shot of another era.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
For those of you who are wondering who this gentleman was, James Graham, 1st Marquess of Montrose was a Scottish nobleman and soldier of such repute he is referred to as the Great Montrose. For you Americans, he may also be the Montrose depicted as the supportive nobleman in the "Rob Roy." (Would that be correct, Owd Bob?) A great gloomy photo of such subject matter fits well with the upcoming holiday.
