This is the river where I had my boating accident. My grandfather told about the accident in this post. I have been back to fish in the river and hunt mushrooms along the bank. I guess you could say it does not make me scared. I still like the water.

Hello Brax(ton),
Can still rembember this touching story. Hope you went back to the river with a life jacket on now. Taking proper safety measures will prevent in most cases that accidents become disasters.
About your image I like to say, that's a good one to me. Love the lush green in it. Well done 'Stíxx'.
Take care my friend and regards, Cornelius.

Very good Stixx and I am glad you are here to post this. I still get chills thinking about that day. I like the light and shadows in this one. Since I saw the original, I like your crop as well. You have learned a lot since joining Caedes.
I love you.

I do remember the winter river and the story your grandad posted, Braxton. Your angel was with you that day and so was your dad's and his friend's. It's good that you aren't scared about it any more. I like your shot of the river with the trees on either bank and the white rocks on the embankment. I wonder if there are any trout in that river. Good to see you taking photos too.

Good to see you Braxton. Nice post, the composition is strong, and the colors just right. It makes for an interesting comparison with your grandfathers picture.

I'm glad you're not scared of the water after your accident, but I bet you have a real respect for it now!

Very nice angle here. I love the curve of the river and the contrast of the rocks over on the right-hand side.

I'd say you have a good eye for composition.

Great to see you here Braxton, I guess it's the school holidays? I'm glad the accident didn't put you off and that you're still enjoying the water. This looks like a lovely place to 'mess about on the river' and I like your composition a lot. Hope you can get out a few more times during the holidays!
