A perfect entry for the contest Milka. It will be difficult to top this one.
For some reason it makes me think of the movie "Casablanca."
The lighting and the shadows are perfect.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Symbolically, this may be an expression of the loss of the one who warmed the chair and drank coffee or tea at the table. And, maybe watched people, events, and memories parade pass, so much like the leaves that fell from the nearby tree. So many, so many.
