I feel loneliness in the morning air as those solitary trees seek but do not receive companionship from the earth or the sky. Even clouds avoid contact and move away in haste. The heavens are empty and cannot afford even one teardrop to dampen a leaf. Such encouragement will not be coming for this sparsely filled forest of giants.
