I realize pigeons and gulls are common sights, but these two huddled in a cozy pose were hard to resist. I wasn't inspired by the autumn grasses so decided to add some effects.

A pair of plumb pigeons relaxing on the grass. I like the grain/artistic effect you've used here - it makes this image pop.

I like the post-photo work, and these two birds resting in the midst of the holiday rush is unusual and appealing. Was it cold? I see that their feathers are fluffing out a little.

Your added effects really look good. It has a slight Orton look, but I don't think that is what it is. Anyway..it looks great. Very nice image of the purdy birdies. LOL.

Perfect placement of the birds in the frame, lots of detail in the feathers and it's not obscured by the effects you applied, nice shot Elizabeth.

Don't know whether these are 'husband' and 'wife'. If so, I would say that they're still in love with each other, lol.
Very fine post Elizabeth.

They may be common sights, Elizabeth, but they're not commonly shot this well. The way they're laying together, those sharply defined and striking eyes, and the filter you've used all enhance the image. I may not have cropped it quite so tight on far right but that's just me. An excellent submission and a unique perspective of a "common" subject. Thanks for sharing it.
