hehe thats cool, i like trying to catch water drops
one suggestion... use the flash on your camera, it fires off at 1/200 sec so is fast enough to freeze water like that so you would get more light on the subject.

Although this shot is more conventional than your first, I like it better...mainly because I like the color play on the water ripples.
