Been having a bit of trouble with health issues so my photography may be a bit simplistic for a while. Shooting close to home.

I'm sorry to hear that your having health issues Frank, I do hope whatever it is, that is nothing serious, and your back on track real soon. I think you have taken a simple subject, and made it beautiful. The focus throughout is very good, and the color is eye grabbing, and reminder of what will come soon than later I hope. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Frank, in the first place I hope that your 'health issues' soon will be gone. In the second place I like to say that the above quoted sentence from your narrative sounds like an excuse. You might know too that simple images are often hard to take because they are that simple. It's rather easy to create from a fine landscape a good composition rather than from a pine. If one succeed to do this, simple images are often the finest.
To me you succeeded very well!
