This is the last image i will be posting for a while,As i'm in the process of switching back to Nikon..Since I've been with canon,I feel my images have not been quite as good as i managed with my D90.To get the best out of Canon you need their L lenses..Out of my budget I'm afraid and their kit lenses leave a little to be desired.I also resent having to pay extra for a lens hood. It's pure greed..So I'm going back to Nikon.A D90 or a D300 or even a D700...Anyway this was taken at Richmond North Yorkshire on a day out with Bob...As it's my last with the Canon,I'm putting it in the competition...Richie.

You are exactly correct Richie. I have said it over and over. With Canon you need pro lenses to get quality images. Nikons
kit lenses are far superior to Canon.

If I wasn't so heavily invested in Canon, I would have gone to Nikon long time ago. My husband when he was living insisted on Canon equipment so that is what I had to go with.

The other side of the Canon/Nikon story is that Nikon pro lenses are much more expensive than Canon. I don't want to spring for some of their expensive lenses. That's another thing that has kept me away from Nikon.

Both systems are good. Its a matter of what your needs are and how you want to spend your money.

Nice reflections and a beautiful sky Richie. Good luck in the competition. All I can say is that I am satisfied with my Olympus.

Good competition post Count B. I have a Canon and I know that EJ takes great photos with his Nikon. I find myself using my Panasonic a lot these days. I can't afford to bounce back and forth so I will see how Nikon treats you when you go back.

I will have you know, Sir, that I am highly offended by your remarks about Canon. (Not really, but I thought I'd say that anyways.) LOL. I'm with Tick. I can't afford another camera, so I make do with what I got. Good luck with your Nikon.

I'm using only Nikon, Richie, so I can't say which camera performs the best.
Although this one is taken with a Canon, it's not that bad, lol!
Wonderful image. Good luck with it in the contest.
Regards, Cornelius.

I personally think that any adjustment may be improve and fix on the post processing with a very good software apparatus.
The photo is indeed awesome.

Excellant post my friend. It is so detailed that I feel that I could walk right into the image. It should do very well in the contest.
