From the downward turn of the crest on the mother(?) duck, it looks like junior is wanting to explain what actually happened but she isn't having any of it. Mom's mad, kid.
Everything in this shot is outstanding--the lily pads and the birds, the focus and bokeh, the color and lighting, etc., etc. Faved.
