Stateside it could be a cabbage moth. Beautiful closeup.

Richie, excellent macro of this cabbage white. The timing is perfect.
These butterflies or moths or similar ones are that 'nervous' (unpredictable movements) that it's pretty hard to make a good capture of them. By judging this photograph, apparently you weren't dealing with this problem. Probably your photographic skills have been helpful to to achieve this result.
