Love the coloring on these two - they are quite beautiful in their own way.

Colonel Sanders, maybe true, maybe not, once said that he had never met a chicken he didn't like. Richie, he would have loved your "Two Cocks." And, unlike me, without a smile on his face. lol.

Richie, in my country we have the saying: "Als twee honden vechten om een been, dan gaat de derde er mee heen." ("If two dogs fight over a bone, the third takes it."). If there would be a third cock, I'm curious whether this is valid for these two cocks as well, 😁. In that matter, it's amazing that you can provide us with this peaceful and very fine image.

While chicken is one of our favorite meals, my wife and I, Rhode Island Reds are my favorite chickens to appreciate for their visual aesthetics. Our town changed public policy (pop. 22,400) last year by repealing a 60-year ban on raising chickens in our yards. Last year a rooster, from three doors down the street, came visiting a couple times a week. Since he was so good at escaping his pen, I dubbed him Dillinger. Once I finish my backyard shop, I am considering a few chickens myself, for eggs and their beauty.
