I took a drive to my favorite little falls yesterday. I really figured considering the drought we are in, it would be bone dry. As you can see to my delight it wasnt. I took this with an 18 to 55 mm lens. 1 sec. shutterspeed with and f/stop of 36. I hope you enjoy.

If you can spare some time, Billy.. grab yourself a cuppa and have a read:

"Locations/Scenes/Subject Matter - Waterfalls" ... courtesy of Ron Bigelow Photography Articles. (As well, there is a ton of good good stuff/tutorials/articles on his site.)

In particular, "Waterfalls -- Part III" and "Waterfalls -- Part IV".

Could be wrong, think "Spring Falls 4" is one and the same as this location/image here?

I like the blue look to the water, and the long exposure. Fantastic fall shot, Billy.

That's pretty good, Billy, and might even have set some sort of precedent. I don't think I've ever received a critique from Les without a single "Caveats". Congratulations. I have contacted the people at Guinness to see if this qualifies as a world record.

Is this the place where you shower after work? It might qualify as being rustic although the water wheel is a better choice. My plan is to post everything that I think is rustic and see what kind of comments I get back.

Really nice job on this one, Billy. You continue to venture into new territory. Great colors, lighting and camera work on the extended shutter speed. I assume this was hand held.

I too like the blue tint in the falls BTK. Your exposure time really makes it look great.

Oh I'm so glad you went there and took this marvelous capture of the waterfalls. So peaceful looking. I just love being at a waterfall, just sitting and thinking. We use to have a larger waterfall on our property

---I really figured considering the drought we are in, it would be bone dry.---

You're like a pioneer Billy, capable to find cool water even in these very dry conditions.

Glad that you succeeded, because you can offer us now this wonderful image. Thanks for that, mate.

Regards, Cornelius.
