This one was taken from the first overlook. I am not a big fan of verticles but there was no way around it if I wanted to get the whole thing in. I hope you enjoy.

I know what you mean, Billy, about the portrait mode shots. But when it comes to lengthy waterfalls, what's your choice? You could have shot this in landscape mode and had us turn our monitors 90°, but all of your Caedes friends would be mad at you because of their sore necks. Giraffes, upright ladders and basketball players are the same.

Quite a dramatic shot you have here and no sky for me to bitch about.

Another good portrait mode shot BTK. It looks like it was a necessity for sure. You have found a gold mine of photos in those Colorado Hills.

The water is perfect and those trees at the top and bottom really make the shot. Thanks for sharing this.

The trees are so gorgeous around the falls! I don't care for verticals either but can see why you had to shoot it like this. Excellent Billy!!!

Billy - Portrait - vertical - was the right choice for this image. You did some serious hiking to get up to this altitude to be looking down at the falls. Very nicely done! Thad

Beautiful looking photo and lovely colours and textures in this photograph.Plus i think i can see a person looking down the falls at the top,it gives you a good idea of the height of these falls.
