I deleted the first posting of this. I had some things in the sky that should not have been there. Thankyou Tick for pointing that out. It is really appreciated. This is a manip because the picture of the elk was taken about 30 miles from the mountains. I hope you enjoy it and thankyou for the comments and views.

It looks great BTK. I am glad you took him back home. Did he hear this call and come running for some grub?
Excellent job.

Hi, Bikky....

Rule #1 of composition: Never center the subject. From what I can, tell you have a dynamite landscape and a fine shot of an elk. Because of the panoramic layout and the location of the elk, it's almost like you have two separate shots that you combined. Excellent detail work in capturing the textures of the antlers.

What do they do with the elk after they're "ready." If this area famous for elkburgers or something?

Billy, you're a perfectionist, my friend. Know for sure however that this isn't a complaint, because you have provided us with a gorgeous alternative. It's not a problem to me that you've ignored the photographic dogmas by placing the elk in the centre of your image. Great manip to me! Perfectly done.

Regards, Cornelius.
