Think Gabrielle is right. Think it's foam/froth as well as the grass is green. Snow or foam/froth doesn't matter however. What matters is that you've posted a wonderful image Winona! Thanks for that!

Your eye for the small but interesting objects is to be seen here again. It is not picturesque but the four objects - grass,water,foam and wood together make this quite an interesting image.

I think someone is minus a piece of firewood. I am glad because it adds a lot to this scene Winona. Good eye for the little beauties in life that get by us.
