...Can Winter be far behind? Just to put a downer on your Summer here's a shot of the Perch Rock Lighthouse at the mouth of The River Mersey during a storm last winter.
I love your shots of this light house, I have them saved and this one will be no different! I love how your capture the wild waves, and the blue, blue sky is telling a different story. Great job once again. Laura runs off to add this one to her Favorites.
Great capture of the waves in this one Steve, and gool ol' blighty summer captured here! Tell me, is this a manned lighthouse Steve or one of those auto ones?
Another great one of your picturesque lighthouse Caruso. The water slapping against its sides makes it look very sturdy. Amazing how long they can take a licking and keep on ticking.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

This is a beautiful shot of "your" lighthouse Steve. Lighthouses always fascinate me because I have had much to do with them (not the house but the light) all my working life.
The brown colours in the waves are an indication that they are filled with sand and so are very massive and weight tons. Very risky to sail in a small boat/yacht in these weather conditions as overcoming waves could break a small boat in parts. Excellent lighthouse post.
Regards, Cornelius.
WOW Steve, this is absolutely a Beautiful action shot. Love the waves and does look like a big storm. Fabulous colours & clarity, Bravo my friend & love lighthouses
