The Perch Rock Lighthouse that guards the mouth of The River Mersey and an incoming container ship. Taken this afternoon (4.00pm on 12/03/2014).

Stunning looking photography with beautiful light and superb colours plus light too.Also very nice composition with this photo as well.And yes it looks great with the ship coming out of the mist too.

I too like how you timed and composed this one...vertical format perfect for the main subject and then the vessel in the mist beginning to emerge in the distance looks great, very moody...a fave for me too.

A good clear shot of your favourite lighthouse, while the container ship is shrouded by fog, & partially obscured by the lighthouse. This leaves both the ship, & lighthouse drawing attention to each other. (o:

I'm now wondering if you have an unobscured view of the ship!
