Looks like a garden spider. They do a great job keeping the grounds clear of pest insects. Really clear shot!

This is about as close to this "pretty" one as I care to get. Nice crisp capture but I'll hang off a building roof, creep up on a buffalo, sit in a snowbank for a couple hours, or stand chin deep in a river to get a shot... for this one, better you shooting it than me.

I may just have nightmares, but this is a gorgeous shot. The wispy, delicate web is a nice contrast to the spider, and the variegated leaves in the background add to the overall effect. Great job!
