John I really like the way you have captured the rising fog off the water. Very good imagery my friend. Along the autumn colors it makes for a nicely composed picture. sandi♥

Hope that little bridge/walkway to the lake doesn't get slick or it's "Bottoms Up." I not sure about the panoplies but the beautiful array of colors is quite the display. I too like the fog and the colors. You did great job with this one John.

Got some wonderful panoplies here, John! lol I have to admit that I had to look the word up. The old brain isn't what it used to be. lol The rising mist is always a wondeful sight over the water and the colors are beautiful for this time of day. I like the mood this image sets. Really great post.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

You're really capturing some dynamite shots, here! I love the wispy mist rising gently above the river, and the somber autumn mood of the whole image. Way to go, John!

Lovely image John. You really know how to capture fog. I love how it is appearing from the water...if only it were a hot spring, then you could jump right in and warm up!
You sure you haven't invested in a fog machine as well as a new camera John? You do wonderful things with the light on the mist, mixing monochromes with the enriched colours the moisture brings out in the leaves. Gorgeous and it deserves to do well.
