When I was young I worked for a while in a woollen mill in the evenings, operating a row of winders. This image reminds me of then, and I see the yarn snaking through. I now hear the (deafening) noise and smell the lanolin in the wool. I have to say that if the machines had been as enormous as your image they may have caused nightmares ! Your image is amazing !
