John, it's like the eyes in your render are trying to hypnotize me. But so far I stay wide awake. As long as it stays that way, I can enjoy this render. Otherwise I'll just have to dream of it, 😁 !

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

During my career I used to regularly purchase first floppies, then cds of various fonts from a firm in Buffalo, NY, called ^P22^. 22 had some of the coolest fonts imaginable, built with exacting standards to hold up under any circumstance, and were often based on and designed around historic fonts, historic imagery (like prehistoric tribal petroglyphs), and even the handwriting and artwork of famous artists and movers and shakers. Every so often someone on staff there would develop interesting perks for regular shoppers like me. One of those (and I still have it, pristine on a shelf) was a full deck of playing cards, each of the 52 based on and built entirely from one specific font in P22s collection. When I first opened this image, John, I saw what appeared as a face with eyes and a diagonal line segmenting the whole. That unique deck of cards was the first thing that came to mind and my next thought was how cool it would be to have you design a deck of cards that was full-on Casechaser John. My next thought was how cool it would be for all of us Caedes regulars to collaborate on a project by which each would create their own respective interpretation of a playing card or a famous image (like maybe Mona Lisa, or a Chrysler Building gargoyle, or the planet earth; it could be almost anything). That is how creativity and inspiration works. Anything can lead to something else. And that is the beauty of these works of yours, John; they can really get the gray cells in others to work overtime.
