Blunderbore's Stairs

Dusk has dawned, I hear its call,
above the world I've watched it fall;
I smell blood and I smell bone,
and I smell fear coated in gold;
Grind your bread and bake their teeth,
and death will come while you're asleep;
I will rage. I will rage.

John, when I watch your render carefully, I'm almost convinced that this may be the stairway to heaven, and may not be the area where Blunderbore terrorized travelers heading north to St. Ives, 😁 !
A heavenly creation anyhow, larded an appropriate poem and music links. Very well done again!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I would not be surprised to find that a secret door behind the wine cabinet, in Blunderbore*s bedroom, opens to these stairs, and they lead up to his treasure room, plundered by all the guests he has done away with. Then again, it could also be one of the 40 staircases in the altogether ookey Winchester mansion.
