I saw the Light, saw the myriad spirits flying loose up the Tunnel towards the celestial blaze, the Tunnel perfectly round and widening as they rose and for one blessed moment, one blessed tiny instant, the songs of Heaven resounded down the tunnel as if its curves were not made of wind but of something solid that could echo these ethereal songs, and their organized rhythm, their heartbreaking beauty piercing the catastrophic suffering of this place‐Lestat.
Anne Rice

Already he felt her absence from these skies: on the beach he could only remember the sun‐torn flesh of her shoulder; at Tarmes he crushed out her footprints as he crossed the garden; and now the orchestra launching into the Nice Carnival Song, an echo of last year's vanished gaieties, started the little dance that went on all about her. In a hundred hours she had come to possess all the world's dark magic; the blinding belladonna, the caffein converting physical into nervous energy, the mandragora that imposes harmony.
F. Scott Fitzgerald

Then she gave one last burst of music. The white Moon heard it, and she forgot the dawn, and lingered on in the sky. The red rose heard it, and it trembled all over with ecstasy, and opened its petals to the cold morning air. Echo bore it to her purple cavern in the hills, and woke the sleeping shepherds from their dreams. It floated through the reeds of the river, and they carried its message to the sea.

John, sometimes I wonder if you first select the quotes and music links and then create a corresponding, always intriguing and beautiful, render or if you choose for the reverse way.
Whatever it may be, the result is always astonishing, so appropriate for this post as well.
Perfectly done and selected!

Repetitive lines have always been a favorite design for me, as well as strong contrasts in colors. That rippling effect is downright jazzy, sexy, and your title fits it perfectly, John. I love this and I'm stealing a copy for my laptop screen... and nobody can stop me!
