I have taken up with an old codger of late. He has moved in with me into my little studio. He is 98 years old, which makes me feel like a spring chicken! He has one eye, and a very nasty temper, don't know why I love him the way I do. Perhaps because he has been my grandpuppy for the past 14 years! He loves me soooo much, but he has a very nasty habit of attacking feet. He is part Dingo, perhaps that is why he can be so grouchy. But he has gotten me into the habit of taking walks every morning now, and I finally started taking my camera with us. Today we passed these beautiful flowers, I am assuming they are in the bottle brush family, but then hey, I am no expert on flowers. I loved the colors, hope you enjoy too!

Just great Carol. It is so clear and I really like the blurred background of the same spots of coloring. Exquisite. You friend is not old, he is experienced. You can learn a lot from him.

Nice close up, I like the colour and detail on the brush, But
i don't see a bottle. I think maybe the Dingo got off with it.

I wondered what I was going to see when I read the title of this one! Well spotted Carol, I'd have walked past this without noticing - or did you have a little help?!

Its is beautiful Carol. Goood on the grandpuppy for helping you find it.

I think it is not a bottlebrish - rather a Pink Wattle (acacia)The leaves are identical to one of the yellow varieties. Perhaps they would call it Pink Mimosa in the Northern Hemisphere.
