This is the companion piece to "A Saxy Fall on Deaf Ears." Felt like this great saxophone player who was playing his heart out deserved to standout so I made it happen with "A Standout Musician." Here he is front and (off)center with all eyes on him with everyone else faded and flaking into the background. Watch and behold the artist at work. "Music is one of the noblest callings I can think of. It's the highest of all the art forms to me. For example, if my kid said to me, 'I want to give it all up,' whatever it is that they're doing, 'and I want to take my saxophone and go out,' I would say, 'May God go with you. This is a great and noble thing that you're doing.'" - Hugh Laurie Another potential entry for the street contest. I'll have some thinking to do on which one I'll enter. 200mm F/2.8 1/200 ISO12800 Denoise AI -> Luminar 4 -> Aurora HDR

I personally like this because of the background and the looks he is receiving from passerby's.
The textures are amazing.
It seems to show the loneliness of the scene more. It also demonstrates the love he has for his music.
You couldn't go wrong with either on.
Good luck whichever you choose.

Chris, playing music in such severe weather conditions isn't fun, but gaining some money now will probably be a necessity to survive.
You've visualized this situation perfectly!

By blurring the background with the texture you have made the musician look very prominent in this picture.
If this will be your entry for the contest then good luck with it Chris.
