You are starting with the right photo, Cornelius-the eggs. Don't know how you found this nest with eggs and which bird built it but it is a fine image.

When I captured this image the bird was gone, so went back the other day and saw the bird at its nest. He wasn't impressed by my presence at all. Tomorrow I will show you this image Raj.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Really nice shot of their nest - and the framing is a plus too!

Bij mij in de buurt zit ook een watervogel te broeden,
maar rondom het nest is het één en al riet!
Ik zie dat jij ook geplaagd werd door een paar stengels
maar dit is niet echt storend!
Leuke image, Cornelius!

Ah ha...breakfast. Where's the bacon? Are they goose eggs, or duck eggs? Scrambled, please...a little pepper. Nice idea for a springtime picture, Cornelius.

Another great catpure.. what a strange place to have a nest.. obviously she's sure her babies won't be afraid of water once they've hatched.. well done Mr C

It's neither a swans-, goose- or ducks nest but a coot nest. Will post in the coming days an image of a swan at its nest.

I didn't know there were "Young Coots." I have been called an "Old Coot" many times. lol. Great find C and it looks like you have been very quiet in finding this spot. I like to see things "springing" to life. Good post.
