The farmers did their preparations for the winter. The 'Fresh' ploughed Zeeland (The Netherlands) clay is shining here in the late autumn sun. I've tried to 'catch' this special atmosphere is this image. Hope you'll enjoy it. Thank you in advance for any comment.

Excellent shot, Cornelius. The glow of the clay gives that special effect and the bare trees with that sky behind add the rest. Altogether wonderful!

beautiful light. fantastic effect made by the lines going so many different directions. i like the texture that the tractors made with the dirt. the green at the bottom serves as a fine natural frame.

Excellent shot of the land being worked C. Most farmers here use the no till method. It is good for the land to be turned every few years. You really did captured the sheen of the earth. Nice post.

Good health to you and yours.

You can take the boy away from the farm but not the farm away from the boy. Love that dark, rich bottom land. You caught it ready for its long winter's nap. You captured a little piece of magic in that plowed field. The backlighting really gives a heightened sense of depth.
