I think that the image speaks for itself.

Hope you'll like it. Thanks in advance for your comment.

It's the double hull chemical tanker 'Patea. It's previous name was 'Marida Patea'; Homeport: Lewes, Delaware, USA; Sailing however under the flag of Malta; Port of registry: Valetta; built in 2008, Launched: May 28th, 2008; Length 114.0 m; Beam 23.0 m; SDWT (summer dead weight tons) 18,354; Callsign: 9HMT9; Owned by Harren and Partner Ship Management GmbH and Co.

Do those staggered lines mean 'No Parking'?...

Canny angle for this one Cornilius!....

Good lines too. with the road leading the eye to the lighthouse, then onto the ship!...

Maybe bringing a few bottles to me?...

Great composition and photo. I liked that wonderful cloudy sky. Very nice simplicity in your composition. No distracting subjects. Great work.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It takes a special breed, Cornelius, to want to go out on the sea when the sky looks like that. After nearly drowning twice, I have a special fear of the ocean. This shot captures and magnifies those fears.

The composition is flawless. The colors are wonderful - especially in the sky. A work of art. The shot gives me the willies.

Cornelius - A terrific capture of the ship leaving port, soon to be on the open waters. With the marker light on the left, road foreground, the shot has visual depth and a story to tell. Very well done! Thad

I like how you have captured two types of lanes in this - a sea lane for the tanker, and then the road for cars. This capture has something quite special about it and its going straight into my fav's. Thank you for sharing!
