I like to continue my series 'People In The Air' with this one. The image is taken on the west coast of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, the Netherlands, by tourists often called 'the Dutch Riviera'. A continuous west wind rising against the dunes, makes it possible to fly there with a hangglider. I suppose that the depicted 'pilot' enjoys both his flying and his view over de Walcheren coast line very much.

Think there's some misunderstanding. Please let me explain this.
Raj, said in his comment above: "It almost looks as though you have taken this photo from a glider yourself."
Please notice the word 'almost'.
My response therefore was: "You've hit the nail at its head, Raj.", so indicating that I wasn't in the air myself.
Referring to Bob's comment below, think that he didn't notice Raj's tiny word 'almost', because he questioned me: How can you manage the 'chute' and the camera at the same time?".
I agree that my response on Raj's comment easily could be explained wrong, and that's my fault.
Therefore I like to repeat again that I wasn't in the air myself.
I prefer however that the way how I managed to capture this image, will stay a mystery, LOL!

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
I've seen people do this off Beachy Head, very scary. A wonderfully clear and dramatic image. I didn't think you were flying, Cornelius but I am wondering what on earth you were standing on!

You should not argue with some people who do know better. Like our SOB [Sweet or Soddy Owd Bob] or the undersigned. WE decided that you were actually in the air and marvelled at your deft management of camera and the flying device whatever its name is. HOWGH.

Love the empty beaches ... Boris could run there - oh my LOL
And the fellow in the air is well prepared for the soft landing too LOL
