As you can see by the two green maritime traffic lights, the from 'open sea' coming "Oosterschelde" (homeport Rotterdam) has permission to enter the sea-locks of Flushing, Zeeland, the Netherlands, in order to moore in Flushing's inner harbour. Some patience is required for the people who want to cross the locks, but think their delay is not a problem to them as they probably enjoy this view.

Hope you'll enjoy this image as well. Thanks in advance for your comment.

I would be one of the 'patient' ones to watch this vessel sailing 'home'...cos I would have my trusty camera redy to hand!

Great angle for this one

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Classic foto, SEA. I can see folks already gathered to take in the beauty of the passing ship.
Some are just soaking it in and others, like you, have the camera at the ready.

I too would be patient, Cornelius, as I love the water and boats...it would make me wish for a boat ride...nice view and image.

That ship reminds me of when I came over on the Mayflower....actually I didn't....I'm a few years too young to have done that. LOL. Stunning composition and clarity, Mr. C.

Wonderful view Cornelius. Who wouldn't want to wait and watch the ship go through the locks?
