This image was recently taken in the sand dunes of the most western part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The beach is almost empty again, indicating that the summer season is over here.
It's the same here, Mr. C. Not much activity on the beaches anymore. You image here is so gorgeous, especially with that cloud filled sky. Beautiful lighting in the shot too. Well done.
Firstly, I missed your return after the terrible bout with Lyme Disease and I am truly pleased to see you posting again, Cornelius. I hope that you continue to get better, day by day. This scene is an example of what I missed during your absence; glorious beaches with dramatic skies above. Fantastico, my friend.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
Beautiful seaside image Cornelius even though the beachgoers have left - wonderful natural colors and a splendid sky - here at the Jersey shore there still is a lot of activity since there are events planned into the month of October and beyond - Excellent Shot btw!!!:-):-):-)!!!
Wow that really is empty Mr. C. - used to seeing more people on your beach scenes no matter the season - fantastic colors in this from the sand to the sea and of course the sky!
I like this one alot, the lighting was well handled, and of course the composition is spot on. That is what the beach was like for me a week ago in South Haven, Mi. tigs=^..^=
Ohhhh, I LIKE this one. A good strong contrast between the green wooded area and the beach, offset by the soft whites and blues in the sky. Great detail in the small items like the breakwater fences (I think that's what they are), and the white tower, taller than the lighthouse, in connection with the lighthouse, creates a step-down appearance of elements, that march into the center of the photo from the right, each element getting smaller. And the Rule of Thirds works beautifully.

A big Wow my friend, such a fabulous view and composition. I'd love to walk on that beach when there isn't a crowd. I really like the depth of this and such gorgeous colours. Of course right into my favs.
