Depicted is the, almost silhouetted, skyline of Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands, on a misty morning.
The 'vignetting' isn't artificial, but was created by using my sun hood in these conditions.
It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
There are some camera lens hood that do some great effects...I have tried a few 'home made' ones!..
A great piece of work that pulls the eye into the scene with the hood effect!...

I get vignetting like this once in a while and it's generally because I don't have the hood on correctly, SEA. I have never tried to do it on purpose. A good effect you achieved.
