This German couple was playing music at the edge of a cornfield in the middle of nowhere. In fact this capture was taken somewhere on the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Beside the corn stalks, there was no other audience.

I was on my way to a photo shoot, but when I saw this tad manic situation, I've returned back instantly in order to capture this scene. When the music performance was over, I gave them my applause. The slightly bending of their head confirmed to me that it was appreciated.

My entry for Manic Monday.

But at least they have now so many viewers. That is some consolation. Good one for m. Monday.

I think that is a lovely scene - a couple enjoying music for its own sake - showing off to non-one except the corn stalks.
I am glad you were able to appreciate their performance and capture this once n a lifetime picture

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Interesting place to practice and play - does corn grow better to music? A terrific one for MM Mr. C.

Well Cornelius, I guess they wanted a nice quiet place to practice and what a better place - who knows, that field may have provided them with interesting acoustics - I know many ears were listening lol - Great Capture!!!!!! p.s. last year while walking the trail in my favorite park, there was a man playing the bagpipes in the woods - his playing could be heard throughout the park - go figure!!!!!!!!!

They're nervously rehearsing a new piece and figured that if the corn didn't start popping, then they were playing it correctly. Maybe you should have taken a movie instead of shooting a still? Then we could all have a chance to be entertained or frightened.
