I took this image of a helicopter of the SAR (Search And Rescue) team of the Netherlands Coast Guard while on patrol along the Dutch coast/above the North Sea.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Great capture, you are quite talented with these scenes, somehow the end result is so terrific, it makes it look easy and that anyone can do it...but I don't think so... not with those details you manage to obtain.
There's no mistaking or missing this bright yellow Coast Guard chopper for someone in trouble on the sea. As usual, the technical quality of your "People In The Air" series is top drawer, C. I wonder if you've ever tracked down the pilots you photograph to show or gift them of your talents, in print form?
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Referring to 'Nik''s comment above, if I know the names and e-mail addresses of the pilot(s) or crew members of an aircraft, I'll provide them with an image (as attachment by an e-mail) of their aircraft in flight. The same with parachute-jumpers as well. In their offices (mostly at the Zeeland airport or near to it) one can see some images of my 'people in the air' series. The quality is even better than the Caedes versions, because I don't have to limit their size to a maximum of 3,200 pixels as required by Caedes. I don't know however who are the crew members of this chopper. I did an attempt to get their names and (e-mail) addresses, but didn't succeed to get them because of privacy reasons.
