It's not surprising that this heron has been transformed into this shape, because no frogs or fish can be found in the lawn. However, it continues to persevere by hoping for better, witnessing its constant optimistic gaze.

The photo was taken in a garden somewhere at the peninsula South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

Maybe this was Lot's heron and it turned around when it shouldn't have SEA. Time has sure given it some interesting textures. Almost snakelike.
Great find.
