Another night-shot taken in Ghent, Belgium on December 10th, 2022.
The spot: the city square called Vrijdagmarkt (Friday Market). In the middle of the square the statue of Jacob van Artevelde (1290 - 1345).

Superb control of lighting - widely varied in this cityscape view. I like the spires and statue effectively balancing the many buildings below with the negative space of the clouded sky. Bravo!

Beautiful old city of Ghent at night. So many towers to see! The V lines in the foreground give a nice depth,leading us to Jacob Van Artevelde.Good work again,Cornelius.
