Somehow I don't think these kind of shots need be sharp. I think they are more romantic and dramatic if they are in soft focus. The essence of rose is just spilling out of this frame. The colors are spectacular and variegated making this multicolored beauty sensational!

From this perspective, the petal edges face you and they're in sharp focus. The rest of it is beautiful, like you say, like tissue paper. This is just the effect you would want and you did a superior job, Donna!! It's beautiful!!

I think I see the heart of this flower, and it is shaped just like the romantic version that we use to convey our love. This is so pretty, and to see it too clearly would be to destroy the mystic of the secrets it holds. :)PJ
