Wow...amazing photo and I can't begin to enumerate the lines and focus and the shapes and shadows you've given us here, but I will remark that those triangles of the mountains are the shoulders that this image rests on..great eye...
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
Now this was worth getting up early for to be greeted by a scene as beautiful as this. There are so many subtle colors to bring this together to create a masterpiece of a photo. You've done a wonderful job of capturing the silent beauty here Bill. This is definitely going into my favs :)
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
I love the contrast between the background snowy mountains and the richly colored grasses in the foreground. It's a spectacular view and composition Bill. :)
