That's it ... I refuse to let you monopolize my favorites folder. I'm beginning to take them out starting with "In the spotlight" ... right after I put this one in there. :o) As always Gregg ... a perfect capture. I really get a kick out of the expressive pose you caught here. Great photography.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

I just saw some of these babies this morning and had to ask my husband what they were called again. They eat on the ground I think. I didn't notice the face in the wood before you mentioned it. I love the dialog you made up to go with the scene. It really is fitting. Beautiful image, as always, Gregg!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
I see it different. It feels as if the bird plays the "little girl" and tries to look up, since this is soooooooo cute. Very good capture and I like how the focus is on the bird alone.
