As a common belief these blue beads are used to ward off evil eyes. :) All of them are handmade. Very primitive glass ovens are used in production of this blue beads. In time the 'masters' of this production became very rare. Apart from the belief these are nice ornaments. Tanju

These symbols of glass are taken very seriously in Turkey. I have them in various parts of our flat in the car in my wallet you name it most Turkish people believe very strongly about these. Nice image by the way well composed. Well done.
