This old paling fence appears to be struggling with the weight of this beautiful wisteria. It has been here for many years and is a feature of the old house on the riverbank in my home town of Sussex Inlet.

A wonderful (Down Under) spring capture, Frank. It's not only a perfect garden picture, but an very appropriate Foofy Friday (F²) contribution as well. Just lovely!

A very pleasing capture, Frank. It appears a comfortable place to live and this is the perfect wall on which to support that gorgeous wisteria. I can easily imagine the hard effort it would take to replace it and the possible damage to the floral growth. Not a task I would want, but, a couple fresh 2x4s bolted on either side of each post, and some fresh wood screws through the pickets and into the new wood, would help the owner ovoid the monumental task of replacement.
