....this is the building that sits in the grounds of Quarry Bank Mill and was where the pauper children were trained to work in the mill. To the back of the house and just visible is the laundry outbuilding which I posted two days ago and to the left of that the geese are running riot and just to my left side, and I am out of here!!! are the scarey crows!!! lol! :)

It's such a beautiful building but I imagine it holds bad memories for some.You were lucky to have had so many photo opportunities here.You've really brought out the grandeur of this building with your photo.

That's a fairly large house. I like it's pretty white exterior. It doesn't look a whole lot different from what you would see over here back in that time period. Do they give tours inside? If this is the place where those scary crows were...................................bye!
