...and I can just hear some of you singing this old song by the drifters! *puts hands over ears* lol! This is a rooftop photograph I took in Stockport in Cheshire, which is an old industrial town. The view is from the rooftop carpark looking over the old streets and towards the church. I decided to give this a different effect using filter programs I use in conjunction with PSP8 and ended up with a bright yellow sky!!! :) I changed the hue and quite liked the result. :) ps I think there are one or two pub roofs there! ;)

....hmmm there must be one somewhere I do not know about!!! haha! ...and seeing as there is a pub on nearly every corner of every town in the UK, I think that I need to add another 100 years to my life in order to achieve that! ;) ...and it is ages since I was last in a bar ...must be nearly a week! lol! but of course there is Bargain Booze offlicence just at the end of my road! ....joking apart and before you really think I am an alcoholic - the last drink I had was Saturday! :P, who put that glass there??

Nice manipulation, Patti. This filter work emulates an oil color painting. Glad you didn't leave the sky yellow, it would have made it look like a Dali work:)

I agree with other comments Patti, the effect you have created here is terrific. It does give it the effect of being painted instead of being captured on film. It is a good rooftop shot though...gerry..
