......and this is the view that took my breath away when I first saw the lakes and mountains in Salzkammergut Austria - the bus stopped at the top of the hill before going down into the village by the lake. I stood and stared then took several photographs, then the tour guide coughed and I turned and everyone else was back on the bus waiting for me! lol! I was lost in my own World for a few minutes. ....enjoy the view!

Let em' wait, if they don't know how to appreciate some of God's finest sculptures than I feel sorry for them. VERY nice job Patti, you are truly blessed to experience the grand design and feel the power of creation right before your eyes. Some places just strike awe in your heart and send a tingle up your spine. When you do find one of these places it's best to just take it in for awhile because of the pleasure it brings the soul. Thank you my dear, this is just wonderful. J + favs

Patti: I couldn't have said what John said better. I would have been just like you, taking pictures and saying the "he.." with everything/everyone else. Oh, well, maybe the others thought they would see it again. Very good, and wish I could have been there with you.
Thanks for sharing it.

Everyone has come and gone and said their peace, and I'm still here looking...lol :) This is stunning, Patti, and if one couldn't get lost in this scene, I would worry about their sense of the aestetic..it's a marvelous view :)PJ

Cracking view Patti, but compared with Switzerland, they are still hills only :-)
Do not get me wrong, but you have to go to Swiss sometime.
Regarding your story, isn't that a shame.... you do not even get the time to admire the scene, just go again, and hire your own car. a car is vital in the alps.

Those mountains seem to attack the sky. So craggy and steep.
If I could see Austria I might die happy. I wonder where the people who live there go to get "away from it all?"
