.....and now the sun is setting over Derbyshire and I am at the highest point en route home. I am standing opposite the errrr hmmmmm Cat and Fiddle Pub! lol! and this is the highest pub in Britain standing at 1772ft/540m above sea level. I am looking away from the pub at the sun setting and enjoying the beautiful evening sky! This is a popular place for motorcyclists as the roads are such fun to ride along here. I will post a photograph of the pub tomorrow, so until then ....we better have a few pints while we are here! ;)

Wow fogz, another fabulous capture, what an eye you have, and I forget, is there any cold beer over there? Oh well, lots of other goodies if not.

Great light capture, and the landscape is nicely framed.

Beautiful capture Patti. Is that a patch of ice or snow that's glistening in the dusk? Truly a stunning post. Thanks Patti.

Well, at least there is hope for you. You chose to capture the sunset rather than the pub.
(I luv picking on you. Your so much fun). What a gorgeous sunset. This is different from most. I would have clone away the light sliver of standing water in the silouette. It keeps wanting to grab the attention.. Still, a lovely capture all in all.
